Jeffrey is the founder of Old Ways, an experienced spiritual teacher, and a practicing shaman.
The easiest way to contact me is simply by dropping me an email at jeffrey@oldways.com. I do my best to respond to each person individually, but responses can take a bit for me to get out. At the very least, I try to mention the majority of people that write in a my weekly magickal correspondences column.
I do enjoy meeting people face-to-face and accept many public speaking engagements to both small and large groups. Part of the path of a spiritual teacher is teaching, something that I greatly enjoy doing in person. I've taught single classes and more than one series of workshops in the past and would be willing to do so again if my schedule accomodates such an undertaking.
Believe it or not, because of all that I freely give to the spiritual community (I don't charge for Old Ways or for in-person speaking or instruction), I've actually been chastised by readers for not charging some sort of fee or accepting thank you gifts. In June 2007, I finally relented and began accepting financial gifts from readers. If you'd like to send a dollar or two my way, the easiest method is by adding it to my PayPal account. A quick email or a postcard are also welcome ways to say, "Thanks." If you'd like to send a postcard this way from your corner of the world, my snail mail address is available upon request.
Why make myself so readily available? There's a certain mystique that tends to form around those of us who find ourselves in a teaching role within the spiritual community. For my particular approach to work, it's pretty important that I tear down as many of those walls as possible. Me? I'm just a guy. A single dad. I work forty hours a week and do what I can to reach my dreams. Each of us has a calling, no more or less prestigious than any other. Mine is simply to teach what I know. Rather than hold myself up as something special, I'd rather be honest and remind you that I'm not that different from you.
